Crew 1's program focuses primarily on outdoor activities including: camping, backpacking, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, skiing and more. Experience is not necessary to join Crew 1, we'll teach the skills needed to participate. |

 Three members of Crew 1 have been honored with the Venturing Leadership Award for 2008. Crew Vice President, and Nashua Valley Council VOA President Amanda B. and Crew Associate Adviser Sean W. were awarded the Council Venturing Leadership Award at the annual recognition dinner on May 7. Past president, and past Area 1 Venturing President, Lea D. was awarded the Regional Venturing Leadership Award at the annual Quest Conference, May 10 at Horace Moses Scout Reservation. The Venturing Leadership Award is presented annually by Councils, Regions and the National Council to those individuals who have provided distinguished service and expemplary leadership to the Venturing program on local, regional or national basis. |
